The long walk up the mountain worthwhile because of the scenery that is about to unfold before our eyes. Looking at the wild life around you that never knew existed. It’s just you and the outdoors. People passing and going back to their giant backpacks and giant trees on every side of you and birds flying overhead and sitting in the trees and the slight climb in depth. Wanting there to be a top of the mountain and then you here keep on going. Then there is the top. The climb and wanting it to end because of the all the rocks that along the climb. The difficulty of getting up to the highest point of the mountain. Then you hit the top of the mountain. The leaves changing colors and the windy day causing some of the leaves to fall off the trees. The cold rocks underneath your butt and trees surrounding you with leaves continously falling off the trees. Birds sitting in the trees and flyin before your eyes. The giant valley of trees with nature at its best. A park that has not been in habitated just a park with the original trees. On a ledge with nothing but just rocks. Turkey vulchers sitting on the ledge below you. Fallen trees on the ledge with turkey vulchers all around it. Kids trying to get as close as possible to the birds and the only the only talking is the little kids parents yelling at their little kids to get back. Sitting up their in nature for a couple of hours and then the dreadful walk back to the car. Jumping from rocks to rocks not walking on the trail that they had.

When did you find out the truth about Christmas meaning?
Christmas is only 9 days away and I still haven't gone Christmas shopping. The true meaning about Christmas is about giving. Seeing the joy on others faces when they open your present is proboly one of the greatet experiences of the holiday. Spending time with your family that you haven't seen in a while, is an experience to catch up on the little things this time has to bring to the table. Then you got the other meaning where you always thought Santa came down the chimney and brought you all kind of presents to you late at night when you fell asleep. You would always try to wake up and catch him putting the presents underneath the tree early in the morning on christmas day. Then you got the parents video recording you opening the presents. I mean early in your childhood it was kind of cool because you might want to see it when you get older, but when your a teenager it gets kind of old.

Childhood Memories
Early in my childhood, my grandfather would come down and the firs thing I would say is that I would ask him if we can go see the ducks at Leopold lake. I would always tell him where to go and that would be that. I have very fond memories of feeding the ducks bread and fishing with him as a young child. We would always have to go go it as the first thing that we would do and the last thing we would do when he left. If he missed a turn I let him kniow, whatever it did I would let him know about no matter what.We would alwways have to to go and get more bread to feed the ducks because when we would go it would go on forevever because I never wanted it to stop. I always get shit from him at all the family events fro m what I did, but that’s the fond memories that I have of him when he would come down as a child. At every family event he would always tell the story aof the feeding ducks when we were young toeveryone.

Future Concerns?
Whats tomorrow going to be like in 2,3,4, or 5 years down the road? Is there going to be fewer or more jobs than there are today. Are we even going to get a job. The real problem is how are we going to pay off our college debt when todays graduates are having a hard time trying to find a job. Without a job you are screwed in today's society. You won't be able to pay off your college debt and no be able to purchase a house or even a car. The choices are yours. What college will give you the best experience to be ready to go out in the real world and be able to be competive in the work environment. How much money are you going to make and is the job that you find enjoyable going to open when its your time to work?

Do we have to little of time on our hands?
Is time really an issue? Time is crtitical us. Knowing how much time we have on our hands can show how much we can get done. You need to manage time accordingly becasue it's pointless to use your time that you have on something that doesn't really mean anything. Everybody runs out of time to do something they really want to do. Maybe you have to manage through getting to a couple of parties in one day, or you have 3 tests to study for and a practice right after school. Time is key in our everyday life. We all need to learn how to manage time beacause we really don't have that much. A typical day for me is full. After school you run to practice and then you get home around 7:30, which really gives you no time to watch t.v. or relax.

Does money buy you happiness?
Money does buy you happiness in a way. You get to have a nice house, car, and alot of emenities other people don't get to have a normal basis. But money can't buy you happiness, love, etc. The only thing money really does is make life less stressful. If your running low on money, you might have to cut back on doing normal things you would have done if had the money. You might not be able to go out to dinner as much as you would like, take the vacation you wanted to take, or cut back on the amount of driving you are doing.

High Octane Football
After a delay of four games, which was accompanied by a high level of disappointment and a equal degree of criticism, the Todd Graham offense has arrived at Pitt. Here is a link to the article about how it took four games for the panthers offense to click. http://communityvoices.sites.post-gazette.com/index.php/sports/bob-smiziks-blog/30272-high-octane-offense-arrives
Pitt came right out of the gates and had South Florida on their heals. But an earyly fumble sidelined the panthers offense. But right after that you had the players wanting to run more plays and sometimes they wanted them to call the same play over and over again. The panthers were led by Tino Sunseri who showed he can be a dual threat and surprised everyone with his running. He would also block for his running backs when needed. When you have a quarterback willing to block for your running back, you have a team in the making. At the beginning of the season Pitt was picked to finish 2nd in the Big East, but with 4 straight losses it didn't look like it. But with the performance of the wideouts blocking and catching, the defense keeping the other teams offense on their toes, offensive line blocking, and running backs running hard. Pitt football might give the fans a reson to watch a good football team.

Ten Minute Writing
What are my goals? What do I want to accomplish today? What are my dreams? Do you have any goals in life to accomplish today. I want to be a better person in life, school, and at football than I was yesterday. I dream to become a millionaire and not do anything at all. I want to enjoy life without any limitations and enjoy anything I feel like doing at that time.

A Team
A team!
Students from different backgrounds
coming together to form a bond
differences between each teamates
Victory, the only thing on their mind
Fighting for one common goal
winning a section, wpial, state championship
Sweat dripping in each and every practice
Studying the opponent
to be better than the man lined up across from you

The Family Cottage
The first morning smell of a lake!
Waves crashing into shore
The smell of late night bonfires
Dogs walking up and down the beach
People fishing on the piers
Kids playing in the lake
Picnics all along the beach
Music playing softly
Boats rocking up and down
Family partying together

The Big Man
He walked in
stood over my desk
Bald head and a collared shirt
then walked out of the room
Hands folded at his desk
ready to discipline
looking down at the sheet
seeing waht you did
handing you a slip

Blogging today in school. Writing for 15 minutes about whats on our mind is not that bad. I want to chocolate chip cookies right about now. Ashley Hurey got pulled over and I saw her when I cut through the plaza. WVU sucks and now that Pitt is going to the ACC I wonder what is going to happen to the best rivarly in sports. We have our first saturday game of our high school career. We are 4 games down and only have 5 more games to go. Time flys when your having fun. It seems like yesterday it was my freshman year and I was the small one in the school. Wing Night tonight is going to be fun.

Ohio State
"Will you take the money!" stated coach
"Maybe!" stated the player
Questioning longered "Will you accept?"
" I don't know!"
A struggle
Quickly an impatient coach
In answer, honor on the line
" I'll accept, I guess."
Cars, Money, Tatoos
later, at trial, everyone put to the stand
The firing of a coach
