The long walk up the mountain worthwhile because of the scenery that is about to unfold before our eyes. Looking at the wild life around you that never knew existed. It’s just you and the outdoors. People passing and going back to their giant backpacks and giant trees on every side of you and birds flying overhead and sitting in the trees and the slight climb in depth. Wanting there to be a top of the mountain and then you here keep on going. Then there is the top. The climb and wanting it to end because of the all the rocks that along the climb. The difficulty of getting up to the highest point of the mountain. Then you hit the top of the mountain. The leaves changing colors and the windy day causing some of the leaves to fall off the trees. The cold rocks underneath your butt and trees surrounding you with leaves continously falling off the trees. Birds sitting in the trees and flyin before your eyes. The giant valley of trees with nature at its best. A park that has not been in habitated just a park with the original trees. On a ledge with nothing but just rocks. Turkey vulchers sitting on the ledge below you. Fallen trees on the ledge with turkey vulchers all around it. Kids trying to get as close as possible to the birds and the only the only talking is the little kids parents yelling at their little kids to get back. Sitting up their in nature for a couple of hours and then the dreadful walk back to the car. Jumping from rocks to rocks not walking on the trail that they had.

When did you find out the truth about Christmas meaning?
Christmas is only 9 days away and I still haven't gone Christmas shopping. The true meaning about Christmas is about giving. Seeing the joy on others faces when they open your present is proboly one of the greatet experiences of the holiday. Spending time with your family that you haven't seen in a while, is an experience to catch up on the little things this time has to bring to the table. Then you got the other meaning where you always thought Santa came down the chimney and brought you all kind of presents to you late at night when you fell asleep. You would always try to wake up and catch him putting the presents underneath the tree early in the morning on christmas day. Then you got the parents video recording you opening the presents. I mean early in your childhood it was kind of cool because you might want to see it when you get older, but when your a teenager it gets kind of old.

Childhood Memories
Early in my childhood, my grandfather would come down and the firs thing I would say is that I would ask him if we can go see the ducks at Leopold lake. I would always tell him where to go and that would be that. I have very fond memories of feeding the ducks bread and fishing with him as a young child. We would always have to go go it as the first thing that we would do and the last thing we would do when he left. If he missed a turn I let him kniow, whatever it did I would let him know about no matter what.We would alwways have to to go and get more bread to feed the ducks because when we would go it would go on forevever because I never wanted it to stop. I always get shit from him at all the family events fro m what I did, but that’s the fond memories that I have of him when he would come down as a child. At every family event he would always tell the story aof the feeding ducks when we were young toeveryone.
